Corch is pronounced "Cork" which is a combination of Coral and Orchid, the names of two sisters who have a colossal love for animals. Their love for animals came from both parents but their love for exotic animals came from their father.

Matt Tinney has been in the hobby of keeping reptiles and amphibians his whole life.  He starting breeding geckos in 2000, hatching his first Leopard Gecko. His curiosity of reptiles brought him to obtaining a certification as a veterinarian technician. His career path led to positions working with exotics, including issuing licenses for exotics animals. This brought him working close with law enforcement, which he ended up transitioning to thar career path.

Chris Tinney has always loved animals, but never had a liking towards reptiles. She obtained her master’s degree in forensic psychology bringing her to work in law enforcement, which brought her to meet Matt. Her interest in animals and his in reptiles were destined to blend. She fell in love with crested geckos when she saw their cute smiles and held one for the first time.

Chasing and catching lizards as a past time for the girls and Matt created an interest in the girls for keeping reptiles. Coral and Orchid’s curiosity brought the family together to learn more on reptiles, with a special interest in geckos. They would constantly inquiry about the animals that their father had kept and bred before they were born. This curiously would lead to a new family adventure in the keeping and breeding of geckos and hognose snakes.
